Dengan aplikasi ChatSMS, pesan dapat dikirim secara gratis dari komputer via Facebook. Pengiriman SMS ini juga dapat menjangkau internasional. Berikut langkah penggunaannya :

1. Login Account Facebook

2. Masukkan URL address berikut : http://apps.facebook.com/chatsms

3. Muncul tampilan Allow Access?, Klik Allow

4. Pada tampilan SMS Chat Application, Klik Add to Profile

5. Muncul tampilan Add ChatSMS to your profile, klik Add

6. Box ChatSMS akan terpost ke profile, Klik Keep

7. Fitur Free sms sudah dapat digunakan.
